Conflict Management Advice

We help you manage work conflicts, whether internal or external, to improve working relationships and communication and resolve matters as amicably as possible. Internal conflicts may include interdepartmental conflicts, disputes between managers, or issues with any employees. External conflicts include issues with customers, clients, vendors, suppliers, and partners of various sorts.

We set up confidential meeting or telephone meeting times with you during which we discuss your conflict situations. We will help you assess the sources of the conflicts and may suggest alternative approaches for managing them. We help you assess the interests of all of the parties and think of options for resolution. We also help improve communication and relationships between the disputing parties.

Moshe Cohen, President of The Negotiating Table, has been mediating disputes, teaching teaching conflict management, and advising people on their negotiation and conflict management since 1996. He currently teaches Negotiation in the MBA program at Boston University and is a frequent guest speaker at conferences, business meetings, and professional associations. He has also written a great deal on these subjects, and publishes a regular column in the Boston Business Journal.
